Keeping employees safe is a partnership between Eastridge Light Industrial and our
clients. To ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, we work
together with our clients to follow safety programs set forth by OSHA.
Safety training
Eastridge Light Industrial provides employees with information on basic workplace
hazards and a general overview of safety rules and policies, including Eastridge's
Illness and Injury Prevention and Hazard Communications programs before they arrive
at your site.
Once our employees arrive at your site, you are responsible for providing specific
job-site training that addresses the specific safety hazards of a particular assignment.
You will also be responsible for providing appropriate supervision for employees
while they are working at your location.
Personal Protective Equipment
To further protect employees from injury, you will need to provide Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) for any job that requires it. You are also responsible for supervising
employee usage and storage of the equipment.
Occupational injuries
If one of our employees is injured at your site, they are expected to call the The
Eastridge Group safety hotline at 888.237.1223 immediately. We will let them
know where to go for medical treatment (if necessary) and call the facility to authorize
treatment.
Accident investigations
If there is an accident or injury at your work site, we will work with you to determine
the cause of the accident and implement procedures to help avoid similar occurrences
in the future.
Safety tours
Before employees arrive at your work site, we'll conduct an inspection to make sure
the site complies with regulations. Though we depend on you to maintain a safe working
environment, we will conduct periodic on-site safety tours as long as Eastridge
Light Industrial employees are assigned to your site.
