Even if you follow proper workplace safety techniques, there is a chance you will be injured on the job. All accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions should be reported immediately, even if they seem minor. Here's what to do if you or a fellow employee is injured:
  1. Get first aid. In the event of a severe injury, call 911.
  2. Report the incident to the The Eastridge Group Safety Hotline: 888.237.1223
After you report your injury:
  1. An Eastridge Light Industrial safety coordinator will take a statement from you to get the details of the injury or accident.
  2. Eastridge Light Industrial will authorize you to be sent to a clinic if necessary. This authorization must be obtained prior to admittance so that Eastridge Light Industrial can cover your medical expenses.
  3. If you are able, return to your assignment after treatment at the clinic. When possible, follow-up treatment appointments should occur during your non-working hours.
All accidents and injuries will be thoroughly investigated by the Eastridge Light Industrial safety team. This includes an on-site inspection and collection of witness statements. We also conduct post-accident drug tests.
